Did Shia Historians Claim Prophet Muhammad’s Stepdaughters Were Not His Real Daughters

:::note[Description]

Question:

Why do some Shia historians say Zainab, Ruqqayah, and Umm Kulthum were Prophet Muhammad’s stepdaughters? - An analysis of Shia historical claims regarding Zainab, Ruqqayah, and Umm Kulthum being considered stepdaughters rather than biological daughters of Prophet Muhammad. :::

Answer:

All Sunni and Shia authorities (till 1300H/1900CE) are united upon the existence and reality of Abd Allaah bin al-Saba, the Yemeni Jew, who stirred up a revolution against Uthman bin Affan (radiallaahu anhu), claiming Ali (radiallaahu anhu) was the more worthy and legitimate ruler. He eventually claimed Ali is Allaah himself (& hence superior to the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).

Hence shias dont consider the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallams wives as Ahle Bait, but they consider Ali Radhiallahu anhus wives as Ahle Bait. They dont consider daughters of Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as ahle bait but consider sons of Ali Radhiallahu anhu as Ahle Bait. They praise the Ahlel Bayt of Ali Radhiallahu anhu and not the Ahle Bayt of Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

They want to hide their inconsistency. They want to honor Fatima رضي الله عنها (Radhia Allahu ‘anha) NOT because she is the Prophet’s daughter, rather they want to honor her because she is Ali Radhiallahu anhu’s wife.

And this is an open insult to Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as lineage of his own flesh and blood is attributed to some other unknowns.

Allah says in the Quran:

“O Prophet! Say to your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers that they let down upon them their over-garments; this will be more proper, that they may be known, and thus they will not be given trouble; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran, 33:59)

Here, Allah uses the plural word for daughters, not the singular form. Allah uses the term “banaatuka” which means “your daughters.” If it was one daughter only, it would be “bintuka.” This completely negates the claim that the Prophet (saw) had only one daughter.

As mentioned above even from Quran it is proven that Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam had more than 1 daughter. In one of the famous biography of Messenger Sallallahu Alaih wasallam which was named “Ar-Rakheegul Makhtoom” ( The sealed nector) written by Safiur-Rahman Mubarakpuri, The Author (Safiur-Rahman) wrote :

“Khadeejah Bore all his children except Ibrahim : Al-Qasim, Zainab, Rugiyyah, Umm Kulthum, Fatimah and Abdullah who was called Taiyyib and (or) Tahir. All of his sons died in their childhood and all the daughters except Fatimah died during his life time. Fatimah died 6 months after his death. All his daughters witnessed Islam, Embraced it and Immigrated to Madeenah”

from this it is clear that the prophet sallalahu alaih wasallam had 4 daughters (excluding his 3 Sons) and all of them were given birth by khadeejah (RadiAllahu Anha)

NOTE: The Shia of Kufah Deceived, Deserted, Ambushed and Murdered the Grandson of the Prophet Al-Husayn, His Brothers and His Children and Took Their Women as Captives.

killer of Al hussain was Shammar bin Dhil-Jawshan, from the Shia of Ali (radiallaahu anhu). Killed along with Husayn were other sons of Ali bin Abi Talib, from them (according to numerous Shia authorities themselves) Abu Bakr bin Ali, Umar bin Ali, Uthman bin Ali, and also Ali’s grandsons through al-Hasan, Abu Bakr bin al-Hasan bin Ali and Umar bin al-Hasan bin Ali.

Have you just noticed the names of those killed from Ahl al-Bayt who were with Al hussain?! Then you will understand why the lying Shia never mention their names when they tell their story of Karbala from the pulpit to an ignorant Shia audience! This is because the common Shia will realize that the Ahl al-Bayt loved the three caliphs so much they named their own children with their names!

A Mention of Shia-Trusted Sources Affirming the Existence of Abdullah bin Saba’ and that He is the Original Founder of Rafidi Shia Doctrines

The first of them is Risaalah al-Irjaa’ by al-Hasan bin Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah (d. 100H) - who is a grandson of Ali bin Abi Talib (radiallaahu anhu). This risaalah was written by him and was read out openly in Kufah. It covered the tribulations that had taken place, and a statement of deferment (putting off, delaying) about his position on Uthman (radiallaahu anhu) and his grandfather Ali (radiallaahu anhu), and he also announced his clear allegiance to Abu Bakr (radiallaahu anhu). He also spoke of the tribulations which had occurred and spoke of the Sab’iyyah (followers of Abdullah bin Saba’). The Irjaa’ referred to here is not the Irjaa’ of the well-known Murji’ah in the matter of eemaan (faith).
