Answer:

First of all no one considers him as caliph except for the ISIS terrorists themselves As per authentic Sunnah from prophet saws the khilaafah lasted for 30 years only after his death - so at present there is neither any khilaafah nor any khalifah. NO KHILAFAH (at present) = NO CALIPH = BAGHADI an imposter Scholars and intellectuals have already declared ISIS and baghdadi as the soldiers of Shaytan - who have made a mockery of Quran & Sunnah. So whom should we believe, the scholars and intellectuals or the terrorists ? Prophet saws foretold about the characteristics of these terrorists whose ideology is that of the khwaarij. One of the characteristics of the khwaarij is that They read the Qur`an, thinking it is in support of them while it is actually against them. Kindly check the detailed description of the characteristics of khwarijis below If someone is so keen in believing the false claims of the terrorists while rejecting the opinions of scholars and individuals then it means he is in fact a supporter of these terrorists and should be counted along with them. PROOFS:

1.Characteristics of khwaarijis (ISIS and other Muslim terrorists)

The characteristics of these people (ISIS/Al Qaeda etc) a match the characteristics of khwaarijis about whom prophet muhammad saws had warned:

From their (khwaarijis/terrorists) attributes is their outward portrayal of righteousness and piety while concealing corruptive beliefs inside.

[The Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said:] One of you would belittle his own prayer when compared to their prayer and his fasting compared to their fasting. They will recite the Qur`an, but it will not go beyond their throats. They will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through a target.

Some other narrations of prophet saws with respect to khwaarijis/terrorists are mentioned below:Many authentic hadeeth from the prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) condemning them have come in ten different forms of narration like what al-Khalal narrated from Imam Ahmad that he said: “The Khawaarij are wicked people, and I don’t know of any people on earth more evil than they.”From the attributes of the Khawaarij are their ignorance of the Book and the Sunnah and their wicked interpretations of their meanings just as the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said:

They read the Qur`an, thinking it is in support of them while it is actually against them.

Another attribute of the Khawaarij is that they are as the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) described them: Young in age, having reckless and deficient intellects.

Imam Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and al-Hakim recorded a Ḥadith from Ibn Abi Awfa, and Ahmad and al-Hakim also recorded it from Abu Umamah that the Prophet (salallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said: The Khawaarij are the dogs of Hell.

FYI, the khwarijis appeared during the time of 3rd caliph and They (Khawaarij) collectively [declared] that both ‘Uthman and later ‘Alee (the 3rd and 4th caliphs of Islam) were disbelievers as [they declared] other companions. [Aoodhoobillaah!]

From the aqidah of a Muslim is that he believes, in accordance with the revealed texts, that the khilafaah lasted for thirty years, that this khilafaah was upon the way of Prophethood.

The hadeeth narrated by Safeenah (radiallaahu anhu), that the Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:

The Prophetic khilafaah will last for thirty years. Then Allaah will give the dominion to whomever He wills.Reported by Abu Dawud and al-Haakim. Saheeh al-Jaami’ as-Sagheer (no. 3257) declared Saheeh by Imaam al-Albaani (rahimahullaah).

And in the Sunan of Abu Dawud, there occurs after this hadeeth, what is said by Sa’eed bin Jamhaan, who narrated from Safeenah:Safeenah said (to me): Hold on (meaning, listen), the khilafaah of Abu Bakr (radiallaahu anhu) was two years, and [that of] Umar (radiallaahu anhu) was ten years, and [that of] Uthmaan (radiallaahu anhu) twelve years, and [that of] Alee (radiallaahu anhu) six years.Abu Dawud, Kitaab us-Sunnah, Chapter on the Khulafaa, (no. 4647).
