Answer:

Person having good academic / educational background does not necessarily mean him having good knowledge, awareness and adherence to religion, culture or cultural practices.

Just like many criminals who break the law and commit heinous crimes also are from high social class and well educated, same is the case with terrorists.

So in my view there is little or no relation between culture and terrorism rather there is relation between ideology and terrorism and most terrorists are inspired by revolutionary ideologies.

Especially when there maybe underlying causes like poverty, inequality, discrimination, oppression etc. it tries to give these ideologies some sort of justification in the eyes of terrorists. It is important to note that most terrorists are young & foolish (lacking wisdom). It is one thing to be educated and it is totally different to be a person of wisdom.

Also, terrorists & the ideologies that inspire them focus mostly on end result rather than the process to achieve that goal whereas process is more important than the end result as the end result is never certain and each person will be judged for his/her actions.
