:::note[Description]

Question:

Is Allah the God of only Muslims or of all humanity? - A discussion of whether Allah is only for Muslims or the universal God of all creation, addressing misconceptions. :::

Answer:

All the praises and thanks be to Allâh, the Lord of the ‘Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists). (Al-Fatihah 1:2)

Allah is god almighty for everyone, Muslims acknowledge it others may or may not. Some may refer to god almighty by different names, however Muslims are taught to refer to him by his wonderful names as taught to us by our prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

The names of Allah and his attributes are fundamental to the Islamic faith and hence it is not allowed for Muslims to refer to Allah by any name which is not taught to us by our prophet peace be upon him.

And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allâh, so call on Him by them, and leave the company of those who belie or deny (or utter impious speech against) His Names. They will be requited for what they used to do. (Al-A’raf 7:180)
