Answer:

There are certain things which you can realize unless you believe & practice. If you think that you will get all answers before embarking on a journey then you are mistaken. You have to have faith and make the plunge. However the more you delay and hesitate the more doubts and confusions will keep on cropping up which may generate more negative thoughts and prevent you to experience this wonderful journey in the first place. Its like thinking you will drive your vehicle when all the lights are green.

There are some verses in Quran which is not entirely unclear as mentioned in Quran itself:

It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Qur’ân). In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkâm (commandments, etc.), Al-Farâ’id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudud (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers, etc.)]; and others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allâh. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: “We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord.” And none receive admonition except men of understanding. (Tafsir At-Tabarî). (Aali Imran 3:7)

So basically the great reward promised for believers in afterlife is because of having faith in the divine revelations and the unseen and accepting the entire revelation as from Allah even if he does not understand each and every verse in it.

It was narrated in al-Saheehayn, also from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The Shaytan comes to one of you and says, ‘Who created such and such? Who created such and such?’ Until he says, ‘Who created your Lord?!’ If that happens to any of you, let him seek refuge with Allah and put a stop to these thoughts.”
